San Angelo, 2010
Janis A. Barlow & Associates was engaged by Envision San Angelo Performing Arts Center for multiple feasibility studies and site assessments from 2008 to 2010 for the rehabilitation of the City Auditorium and new construction on additional sites in San Angelo.Consultant Janis Barlow and Architect Killis Almond provided studies and feedback that identified a two-phase project. Phase One, completed in 2015, included remodeling the front of house of the City Auditorium and the renovation of a Coca-Cola warehouse into a 300-seat theatre. San Angelo is ready to begin Phase Two in early 2016, which includes renovations to the back-of-house, with its completion date targeted for spring 2017.
